In this post I will go over what you will need in order to play Skyrim Together nightlies on cracked versions of the game. Both Special Edition and Oldrim are compatible, but the mod is designed for Special Edition. V1.5.80.0 is the latest version of the game. If you are installing for the first time you will need to first update to v1.5.73.0 (there is an all-in-one update which you copy over to your game's directory. Then you will need to find the update for v1.5.80.0. They can be found in the Skyrim thread from The update should include different crack versions and I suggest using the CODEX files.
This part is optional but I recommend changing the name of your game directory to appear as a legitimate Steam install, for example: C:Games2SteamsteamappscommonSkyrim Special EditionUse SkyrimSELauncher.exe to set your graphics settings and launch the game to test that it is running. You should also go in-game to verify the version in the pause menu (v1.5.80.0) and you should create a save once you are outside the cave from escaping Helgen since attempting to connect during that part of the game is too buggy. I recommend disabling your antivirus because Harbor can be detected as a false-positive with some AV programs, and also ignore any Windows SmartScreen warnings.

It will probably say 'Game Not Found'. You can either use the Play button in Harbor to launch, or you can run the game using stloader.exe in the game directory. It is a quicker way of launching the game but you should still run Harbor to fetch any updates. When you've loaded your save, you can press the RCTRL key to open the Skyrim Together UI and connect to a server via IP address:port. Note that the very first launch using Harbor may try to open Steam, but you can quit Steam and any additional launches should not have that happen again.Edit: If you have issues starting Skyrim Together, make sure Steam is opened first.
You can exit Steam after the game launches.Other Notes.To have the least amount of issues, refrain from using any mods. If you wish to use mods anyway, make sure you and your other players have installed the same exact mods. If you are wanting to use mods that rely on SKSE, you simply need to have the correct version of SKSE in your game directory.

I'm not really sure why it launches Steam. On my system it only opened Steam for the first time and never again after that. On my friend's system, it opens every time he tries to launch the game through Harbor.
