Nxt Programs For Tribot Scripts
I currently have MSRS v1.5 installed and I have been trying to send programs from VPL to my NXT robot, and I seem to be encountering some difficulty. Are there any settings that I need to specify on the bricks that I use?I have also been attempting to interface my NXT robot into the tribot simulator, but I have not seemed to be able to use the dashboard to connect the 2 services. When I initiate the simulator, the command prompt window starts up and runs the dashboard and simulation screen. Unfortunately I cannot change any of the settings within the dashboard, it is as if the dashboard is on my screen just for show.
The simulator screen works fine in that I have full camera control and editor control over the objects.Also, I was wondering where I can obtain more objects for my simulation environment? Or do I have to create my own manifests and code for that?Thanks! There are very few pre-made objects like office furniture in MRDS. This is an area that will probably change over time. Companies like Simply Sim ( are starting to produce environments for MRDS.You could also look at my Maze Simulator which allows you to easily build walls, but is not very sophisticated.
